Terms and conditions

Last updated for the current competition programme. Individual competition pages may add their own specific terms.

1. About these terms

These terms apply to every competition promoted on this website. By entering a competition you accept them in full. Individual competition pages may add specific terms, and where they do, those specific terms take precedence.

2. Eligibility

Entrants must be 18 or over and resident in the United Kingdom. Employees of the promoter and their immediate families may not enter. We may request proof of identity, age and address before releasing a prize, and we may withhold a prize where proof is not provided.

3. Entries and the competition question

Each competition has a published entry price, total ticket allocation and maximum number of entries per customer. Adding entries to a cart does not reserve them; entries are only allocated once payment has completed.

Every competition includes a question requiring skill or judgement. An entry accompanied by an incorrect answer is not valid and will not be included in the draw. Entry fees for invalid entries are not refundable.

4. Free-entry route

Where a competition is marked as offering a free-entry route, entries may be submitted by post as described on our free-entry page. Free entries are allocated ticket numbers on the same basis as paid entries and have the same chance of winning.

5. Closing dates and draws

Competitions close at the date and time published on the competition page, or earlier if all tickets are sold. The winning ticket is selected at random using a verifiable random number generator, and the draw is recorded.

Where a competition sets a minimum number of entries and that minimum is not reached, we may extend the closing date or cancel the competition and refund all entry fees in full.

6. Winners and prizes

Winners are notified using the contact details held on their account within seven days of the draw. If a winner cannot be contacted within 21 days, we may redraw.

Prizes are as described on the competition page and are non-transferable. Where a cash alternative is offered it will be stated on the competition page. Delivery, collection or transfer arrangements are described per competition, and prizes are provided for UK addresses only.

Results are published on our winners page. We will always seek consent before publishing a winner's photograph.

7. Refunds and cancellations

Entry fees are non-refundable once a competition has closed, except where the competition is cancelled or a stated minimum entry requirement is not met. If we cancel a competition, all entry fees paid are refunded to the original payment method.

8. Conduct and account suspension

We may void entries and suspend accounts where we reasonably believe entries have been submitted fraudulently, automated tools have been used, or these terms have been breached.

9. Responsible play

Competitions are entertainment. Please set yourself a budget and never spend money you cannot afford to lose. You can ask us to limit your entries or close your account at any time by contacting support.

10. Data protection

We process personal data in line with UK GDPR and only to administer competitions, allocate entries, contact winners and meet our legal obligations. See our privacy notice for full details.

11. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud. Otherwise, our liability in relation to a competition is limited to the entry fees you have paid for that competition.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
